The Bf-109 aircraft was fitted with an Hispano-Suiza V12 Engine developing 1300HP instead of the German Daimler-Benz V12
In 1954 later versions of this aircraft were fitted with the Rolls Royce Merlin engine used in the Spitfire developing 1600HP
